Reflection

I have learnt a lot from Usrah 4. There is one thing that I always remember ever since the Usrah have started. The niat of why we join Usrah is the most important things. Tajdid niat always as we want to join the session with calm heart and accept the good values so we can apply in our daily life. 

Thus, niat is very important when we want to start anything as we put our effort and believe it will be a benefial things to do with blessing from Allah. The good niat is always blessed.

Suggestion

Having usrah is always a very good practical session as we have colleagues (usrahmates and also naqibah) that can remind us. Eventhough some of the reminder might be on repeat, nevertheless that is good for us as we always need to have a good reminder in our daily life. Somehow we forgot to apply what we have learnt since life getting challenging day by day. Thus, it good s to have usrah session. My suggestion for improvement is the members of the usrah shall open  the camera so all the members can recognize and more comfortable to have usrah session. The online usrah is very challenging somehow a few members might have difficulties and circumstances due to internet connection and what not. 

Project | Usrah Budi 4

 Bismillah..

As for the Usrah Budi 4, I have involved in a project with the other members on Al-Quran Recitation Workshop. The most important point for our project is the objectives such as;

• To enable students to become autonomous readers of the Qur'an, gaining confidence and enjoyment from various activities including memorisation, Tafseer and recitation.
• To avoid interpreting the Qur'an by personal opinions.
• Apply Tajweed rules to guard and preserve the Qur'an from distortion.

We also managed to discuss about our projects's SWOT (Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) in order to make our project more successful and beneficial towards the students. Therefore, below is the SWOT of our project.

As for my part, I make classes that consists or Tahsin and Tasmik class. The age is varies according to designed class. For instance, as for the Tasmik class, the targeted age is for primary school students. They will begin their recitation/memorisation from Juz 30. 

Reflection on Usrah Budi 3

 Bismillah..

The intention will get us to what we have aimed for. Good intention to seek for knowledge and to know more and try to practice the knowledge will lead us to have a good discipline in following the session. There is a hadith about the intention (niat) which is 

The Power of Intention in Islam: The Niyyah.

I really like this hadith which is also the first hadith that we have to learn in order to study another hadith. The niyyah brings the meaning as below;

Hanafi Definition: Ibn 'Abdin defined  : "The Niyyah is the intention to be devoted to God and to God in fact."

Maliki Definitaion: The Niyyah is the intention of the person responsible (mukallaf) regarding the thing commanded/

Syafi'e Definitian: The Niyyah is the intention of a thing connected with its accomplishment.

Hanbali Definition: The Niyyah is in legal sense, the intention of the heart to get closer to God during a worship service.

The point that I want to highlight is if we have the good intention (niyyah) towards this Usrah Budi, we will get the knowledge and insyaAllah it will benefit us. I do really enjoy this session as I can improve myself more. The knowledge that has been taught are very good to be practice such as th eknowledge about the tajwid. Whether the tajwid is fardhu kifayyah or fardhu 'ain towards each of us. Next is the acceptance of the others' opinion. Every person has different opinion regarding their situation. Thus, how we learnt to accept others' idea and opinion and respect each other in usrah. 

I hope the Usrah can do activity in person (physically). It will be more fun i think. To connect face to face with the other members and learn together. However, due to COVID-19, we have to take the pre-caution step in other to take care of everyone health to be safe. Wallahu 'alam.

Relection on Usrah Budi 2

 Bismillah..

My naqibah always make it fun in every session. It is full of knowledge that we all must have an intention to do good and be kind to other people regardless how they treat us. Even the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. also always reply the bad things that happened to him with the good actions. Sometimes, there are a lot of things that we already aware and have to make a good changes. However, when there is no 'a starter' feelings, the things might get hard for some people. Joining usrah session allow us to remind each other about doing good and always 'renew' our niat (intention) in doing something is in order to get Allah's redha. 

May all of us can get all the good benefits from the usrah. My hope for the usrah is that the things that we already learnt, try to make at least it as ibadah in our daily life. For instance, give salam and smile to all the people that we meet. Hopefully we can make it istiqamah (consistant) in our daily life. So that the kindness spread around the people.

What I've Done In My Usrah Budi 1,2 & 3?

My Role in Usrah Budi 1

Our group presented the topic of  'Appreciation & Protection For The Nature and Environment'. So, our group has divided the task and my role is to be the presenter of the topic that chosen. The poster is as below;

The conclusion for the presentation is that, we as khalifah in this world, we have to take care of our earth such as the cleanliness of the river and do not cut tree illegal in order to maintain the earth temperature and its' stability. Khalifah is a good leader that formed from a good person. Thus, in order to be a good person, we have not to destroy any of nature things and take a good care of it. 

My Role in Usrah Budi 2

As for the role play in Usrah Budi 2, I have to design a poster that conclude the hikmah on the chosen topic. I choose to design a poster about 'Kun Fayakun' which is also brought the meaning of 'Be! And it is!'. It shows the great power from Allah that only Him can do whatever He desired to do while human's power is limited to only certain limit. 

My Role in Usrah Budi 3

In my Usrah Budi 3, we have a role play in group which is we decided to watch file called 'Birthday'. It is a korean film and have a very heartbreaking storyline as it is a film that recorded based on the true event that was very tragic that happened in Korea. The tragedy was known as 'Sewol Tragedy'. I watch it in a very ache of heart as the scene has a lot of sad scene that the viewers could feel the feeling of the actors. 

Thus, we got a lot of lessons while watching the movie. The lessons are such as be good and kind to all the people we met cause we don't know when they will left us forever. Do appreciate a single things in this life and always bless and be grateful for what happened in this life. Last but not least, even though it is a reality that hard to be accepted, the responsibility towards the other people surround us must not be neglected.

The wisdom that we all can take from this movie is that we have to keep appreciate every single person that has related to our daily life because we do not know when they or ourselves will be gone forever (die). In this world, we as human is a khalifah that has responsibility to be a good Muslim and inspire the other to follow Qur'an and Sunnah in order to guide us in having a good and truthfully life. The world is just a temporary life while the hereafter is the long-lasting life that all of human will have. As Muslim, we have to believe on Hell and Heaven as the punishment to our good deeds (reward) or bad deeds (punishment).

Usrah Budi 2

The poster that I have made is on topic 'Kun Fayakun' as below:

During Usrah Budi 2, I have learnt many things that can improve myself. As for the task for the Role Play, I choose to design a poster titled 'Kun, Fayakun'. The meaning of the phrases means, 'Be! As it is'. The phrase (I decide to use word phrases rather than verse because the verse is in one whole complete ayat. But, the kalimah is more suitable with the phrase). 

I choose the phrase as it is a very powerful kalimah that we as human cannot deny the power of Allah. Only He can do what He desired to. Allah is The Almighty god that has the power over everything as we only human that has to follow His guidance by following Sunnah from the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and also the Quran. 

You guys can read the poster as it has the whole information about the phrase. The poster also portray the wisdom that I get from the phrase. I hope it will benefit to all the readers from my blog. 

Reflection on Usrah Budi 1

 Pillars of Islam.

It is good to make a revision again and again about the Pillars of Islam as we Muslims should always learn more about it. 

In the session of we learnt about The Pillars of Islam, the naqibah also explained about the Hadith Jibril. The hadith is as;

The Pillars of Iman consists of 6 elements which are Belief in God, Belief in Angels, Belief in God's Revealed Books, Belief in the Messengers of God, Belief in The Day of Judgement, Belief in pre-destination.

Since the MCO from earlier of the year 2020, I really miss going to the class with my classmates. It was a very memorable moments in my degree life.
